Answers to Commonly asked Questions:
“Do you give free estimates? Do I need to be home for the estimate?”
Yes, the estimates are free and if the estimate is for a cleaning or a repair then no you don’t need to be home. We can always call you at work or on your cell once we’ve diagnosed your problem to go over the estimate. If the estimate is for a full installation of a roof or gutters, then yes, you do need to be home for the estimate, and we’d prefer it, if applicable, that both homeowners be home.
“Do I need to be home when the work is being done?”
No, you don't need to be home. Our trucks are stocked with all the equipment we may need including a 100’ hose. We understand that everyone is very busy and the last thing you want to do is to take a day off of work to stay home for the gutter guy to show up.
“How do I know the gutters are cleaned if I’m not home?”
When it rains they won’t overflow. We know that if you were going to put up a ladder to check on our work, you probably would have cleaned them yourself. We give a 30-day guarantee on all cleanings. Some time within those 4 weeks it will rain. When you see that your gutters are working properly and aren’t overflowing you’ll know we did our job.
“Do you have some kind of an auto cleaning schedule or contract?”
Yes we do. We offer either annual or bi-annual cleaning contracts for the spring and or the fall season. You will always get a reminder call 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment. As long as we don’t hear anything back from you saying otherwise, we’ll assume everything’s a go and show up two weeks later to do the cleaning, and as always, leave the bill in the mailbox.
We here at Honey Do Men Gutters and Roofing Inc. are home owners as well. We understand what it is to save a dollar. So if you have a relative in town, or you want to try and do a cleaning yourself while on the auto schedule, it’s not a problem at all. Simple give us a call saying you’d like to hold off for a season. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
“What forms of payment do you except?”
Cash, Check, Money Order, Visa, and Master Card
“Do you have references?”
Yes, we have over 3,000 clients in Westchester, and Putnam Counties as well as Yonkers. We guarantee that at least one day of any given week we will be working on a house with in five mile of your home.
“Are you licensed and insured?”
Yes, in Westchester and Putnam Counties and Yonkers. We carry a 2 million dollar liability policy. This is twice the minimum requirement for either counties and twice what most of our competitors carry. In addition, we also carry a 25 thousand dollar bond with Putnam County. We also carry a Workman’s Comp Coverage Policy with New York State. Copies of our Licenses and Insurance policies can be provided at the time of estimate to any client upon requests.
“Where are you Located?”
We cover throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties. Our Main Head Quarters is in Baldwin Place located in Northern Westchester County. (Not Long Island)
