Do you give free estimates? Do I need to be home for the estimate?
Yes, the estimates are always free. For estimates on such work as a gutter cleaning or a repair, no one needs to be home. If needed, we can always call you at work or on your cell phone to go over your estimate once we have diagnosed your problem. However, if the estimate is for a full installation of a roof and/or gutter system, then we would request that you be available as there are many options to discuss before we can provide you with an estimate. We would also prefer it, if possible, that both homeowners be home.
Do I need to be home when the work is being done?
No, you do not need to be home. Our trucks are stocked with all the equipment we will need, including a one hundred foot hose. We understand that people can be very busy and the last thing they want to do is to take a day off of work to wait at home for the “gutter guy” to show up.
How do I know the gutters were cleaned if I’m not home?
When it rains, your gutters won’t overflow. We know that if you were going to put up a ladder to check on our work, you probably would have cleaned them yourself. We give a 30-day guarantee on all gutter cleanings. At some point within those 4 weeks, it most likely will rain. When you see that your gutters are working properly and are not overflowing, you will see that your gutters were cleaned.
Do you have some kind of an auto cleaning schedule or contract?
Yes we do. We offer customized cleaning contracts for your home. Most homes require a cleaning in the spring and fall season, but some only require once a year in either the spring or the fall.
As a courtesy to our clients, you will always get a reminder call 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment. As long as we don’t hear anything back from you saying otherwise, we will fulfill our end of the contract by showing up two weeks later to do your gutter cleaning. As always, we will leave the bill in the mailbox for you when we have completed your gutter cleaning.
We at Honey Do Men Gutters and Roofing Inc. are home owners as well. We understand the value of a dollar. Having a contract with us does not mean you are obligated to have your gutters cleaned during your contracted times. You may decide that you don’t need it this year or you want to clean the gutters yourself. All we ask is that you just give us a call and we will cancel your appointment for that season and put your file back into rotation for the following cleaning season. You will NOT be charged a cancellation fee or suffer any penalties.

Do you have references?
Yes, we have over 6,000 clients in Westchester, and Putnam Counties, including Yonkers. We can guarantee we will be working within 5 miles of your home in any given week.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes we are. We are licensed and insured in Westchester County, Putnam County, and Yonkers. We also carry a 2 million dollar liability policy. This is twice the minimum requirement for either county as well as twice as much as most of our competitors carry. In addition, we also carry a 25 thousand dollar bond with Putnam County and we carry a Workman’s Compensation Coverage Policy with New York State. Copies of our Licenses and Insurance policies can be provided at the time of estimate to any client upon request as well as here on our website.

Where are you Located?
We cover all of Westchester and Putnam Counties. Our Main Head Quarters is based in Mahopac, NY located in Putnam County.
